I really hope that Family is okay!! They are precious !!
The intersections there are so dangerous. I don’t know why people don’t pay more attention there. Glad no one was hurt.
That intersection has a traffic light.
If someone ran a red light, they should get a huge fine.
One of the most dangerous intersections in Eureka.
I can’t understand why people don’t pull over for emergency vehicles any more. I’ve witnessed so many cars passing firetrucks, police cars and ambulances, or dodging out in front of them to get the the other side. Is 30 seconds shaved off your destination times really that important?
The ambulance ran a red light with no sirins on… Maybe know the facts befor you for an opinion.
Thanks jessi. I was wondering what happened but didn’t want to bug them. It’s so hard to get accurate info in this town. I’m glad they are all ok!
Hahaha just said how they know there were sirens on #ignorant
First off how do you know they had sirens on in the first place it doesn’t say who was at fault so know the facts before you pass judgement #ignorant
The ambulance had its lights and sirens on and had a green light. Maybe get your facts straight. I know this because I was a block behind it.
I highly doubt you were anywhere near the accident, the emergency vehicle did not have siren on and his light was red….i was there
So you all know you live in California, right? An emergency vehicle with its lights on does not have to be sounding a siren to be Code 3. You still have to yield to it.
Pretty sure the van didn’t.
I’ve watched people just sit in traffic not moving out of the way of on coming emergency vehicles & I’ve seen Epd do nothing about it as well
