The Cannabis Film Festival, the nation’s only cannabis-specific film festival, recently announced their chosen branding partner, The Cannabis Marketing Lab. The affiliation reflects the Cannabis Film Festival’s focused key commitments branding the ultimate film festival experience for the industry.

The announcement comes on the heels of a successful first year event held in the heart of the Emerald Triangle, Garberville, California, in Humboldt County. The Cannabis Film Festival provides a means for filmmakers to share their work with both distributors and the general public. The CFF is designed to enable “cream of the crop” film projects to gain exposure to larger and more mainstream audiences. The festival is also an amazing opportunity for a broad range of organizations to help further the cause of enlightening the general public about cannabis. The Cannabis Film Festival is a full weekend event that provides a venue for cannabis-related businesses and local artisans to expose their goods and services to festival attendees in between the viewing of film submissions.

“We are excited to be approaching our second year with the festival,” said Kellie Butterfield Dodds, CEO and Founder of the Cannabis Film Festival. “We chose Celeste and her team at The Cannabis Marketing Lab to partner with us to make this second year even better than the first,” said Butterfield Dodds.

“The CFF is different type of venture for us which makes it super exciting for my team”, said Celeste Miranda, CEO of Miranda Marketing Labs. “The CFF can do a lot of good for the industry and we are privileged to be a part of it,” said Miranda.

The 2016 Cannabis Film Festival will be held on April 23rd-24th.

So, are the films about cannabis? Or do people smoke cannabis while they watch the films?

Pardon my ignorance, I’ve just never heard of this film festival before 🙂

Yes, all the films are about cannabis. 2014 was the first year and they had films from around the world. Very nice, chill group of people. They also had very interesting festivities in the park and the Veterans Hall.
