Suicidal Subject Discharged Gun in Residence, HCSO Set Up Perimeter Around the Home
At approximately 8:15 p.m., Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department set up a perimeter around a home on Madison Street just south of the Eureka city limits. Reportedly, a suicidal man discharged a firearm inside the home. The man walked out of the home when requested and has been detained.
