Vegetation Fire One Quarter Mile North of Miranda

Scanner traffic indicates there is a vegetation fire one quarter mile north of Miranda. It was first reported around 3:30 p.m. Aircraft has spotted smoke. “A redwood tree down on fire,” reported the first man on scene. The incident is located on the west side of the Avenue of the Giants. There is reportedly a slow rate of spread with no structure threat.

i can see the smoke from my back deck small amount. Its really windy up here in Salmon Creek, i hope they get it out. Thank you Firefighters.
