Earthquake–5.5!

At approximately 6:35 p.m., a 5.5 quake struck about 157 miles west of Ferndale and about 10 km deep. Not surprisingly few people felt it. However, a few folks did. Did you?

Here’s an image showing the quake location along the fault line west of Petrolia.

Solar activity and earthquakes seem to go hand in hand. Check out space weather, watch for storms, follow the quakes. http://spaceweather.com/archive.php

I thought I felt something about that time, but it was not too significant to react. I thought to myself, “Was that an earthquake or a wind gust?”
Stocked up on the emergency supplies yesterday.

Just my usual queasy stomach, a couple of hours beforehand. This happens to me 90% of the time before a quake.
