$10,000 Reward in the Case of the Fire Which Burned the Hoopa Housing Authority’s Office

Hoopa Fire

Fire crews mop up the blaze that destroyed the Housing Authority’s Office in Hoopa on April 1.

Hoopa officials are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for setting fire to the Hoopa Valley Housing Authority’s Office building. In an earlier press release, Tribal Chairwoman Danielle Vigil-Masten said, “This is very disheartening news for our tribe and community. It’s a major set-back for projects we are working on, and may delay tribal members receiving homes.”
