Boots For Vets
Every year, North Coast Stand Down offers needy veterans three days of services ranging from dental care to putting shoes on their feet. Last year, twenty-seven vets were fitted for new footwear. This year, the non-profit aims to almost double that number.
They need your help. Donations of $50 will buy a new pair of boots, $25 will buy half a pair and $5 will buy a set of laces. You can donate by going to this site and clicking on the boots. Or, for more information call (707) 840-4698.
