APD: Two Arrested With Over 200 Pounds of Pot

Arcata Police Department Press Release:

The Arcata Police Department, with the assistance of Officers from the Humboldt State University Police Department, served a search warrant at a residence in the 200 Block of 13th Street on Friday morning.   

During the investigation, officers located in excess of 200 lbs of marijuana and evidence of sales in both the residence and an associated garage. 

Alexander Kent Dinwiddie (age 35) and Deanne Marie Boggs (age 23), both of Arcata, were arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Jail on the charge of Health & Safety 11359 – Possession of marijuana for sale.  A third suspect identified in the investigation was not home during the service of the search warrant and an arrest warrant will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
