Bleeding From Self-Inflicted Wounds, Trinity Man Had To Be Subdued by K-9 Says TSO

Trinity Sheriff’s Office Press Release:

On January 27, 2014 at approximately 12:00pm am the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a regarding a disturbance of the peace from a resident in Hayfork on Hyampom Road. The caller told the Dispatcher that a male adult was causing a disturbance at a house nearby. Shortly after the first call the Dispatch Center received a second call from a resident inside the house where the disturbance was occurring, stating the subject was throwing things inside the house and that he was bleeding from self-inflicted wounds.

When Officers arrived on scene at the residence on Hyampom Road in Hayfork they were able to speak with witnesses that were in the house who had vacated the residence. Witnesses again told Officers that the male subject inside, identified as William Morrison, was throwing items around in the house and was bleeding from self-inflicted wounds.

Morrison then barricaded himself inside the residence. Officers were able to make entry into the residence and attempted to take Morrison into custody. Morrison became extremely uncooperative and a K9 unit was deployed to subdue Morrison. Morrison was taken into custody by Officers on scene. Due to the extent of his injuries Morrison was transported to a Redding area Hospital.
