Supervisor Fennell Recuperating from Food Poisoning

Supervisor Estelle Fennell continues to recuperate after a bout of severe food poisoning linked to a small cluster occurrence of E.coli in Humboldt County.

Supervisor Fennell states,

“I understand that I am one of 5 people in Humboldt County who have been affected by this virulent E.coli strain”. According to Public Health, this is not an outbreak as there has not been a common source of infection identified. What was different in my case is that while in the hospital, I experienced an unexpected complication, but I am on the mend and will be released from the hospital today.”

“I want to again convey my deepest thanks for all of the support, prayers and well wishes, and I will be back to work soon. I still have some steps to take on the road to full recovery but I want my constituents to know that I am in daily contact with my staff and colleagues and that your calls and emails will continue to be answered and issues in our district addressed.’
