Henry, the Strawberry Thief

Jo Pritchett was LoCO’s Feature Photo artist last week but when she sent in this shot and story, we couldn’t wait to put this up.

Pritchett explained the photo by saying that she and her husband had two baby possums that showed up on their property. They named this one Henry.  According to Pritchett, “He’s stuck around and we get a kick out of watching him hunt for grubs.” 

Just recently, Pritchett writes, “[w]e had a mystery as to who was eating our strawberries. Tonight, we found out…it’s Henry The Strawberry Thief. Our strawberries are in 2 wine barrels and he only eats out of one…[H]opefully, that is because he is being polite and leaving the other barrel of strawberries for us.”
