Armed Robbers Steal $1000 Pound in Arcata

Arcata Police Dept. Press Release:

On 1/27/2013 at about 1:40pm, the Arcata Police Department received information that an armed robbery had just occurred in the 400 block of E Street. The responding officers checked the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

During the investigation, officers learned that the male victim was attempting to sell a pound of marijuana for $1000 to several male subjects when a handgun was produced and the suspects forcibly robbed the victim of his marijuana, cell phone, wallet and car keys.  

The suspects were described as black male adults in their early 20’s.   The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene in a black colored Chevrolet Impala with a broken windshield.
