Roads on Southern Humboldt Hills Icy Again

According to Marty Messenger of Humboldt County Roads, the school buses again will not be doing their morning run west of the Whitethorn Post Office.  He explained on SoHum Awareness, “light snow flurries, sticking in spots, areas of frozen snow/ice from Paradise Ridge to Chemise Mtn. Rd. tried to plow, didn’t help.”

Messenger also explained that there is snow and ice on the Alderpoint Rd. and the Bell Springs Rd.  He said it is foggy and slippery also.  Again this morning, school buses will not be running in that area.
