$1000 Reward for Information about Tire Vandals

On Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in the early morning hours officers with the Fortuna Police Department responded to the area of Campton Heights Drive regarding the report of numerous vandalized vehicle tires. Upon arrival, officers immediately observed more vehicles with vandalized tires. In total about 15 vehicles had had their tires vandalized. “Many victims expressed their frustration, for having to be late to work, being inconvenienced and of course the extraordinary cost of replacing multiple tires on multiple vehicles”, said investigating Officer Ryan Richardson.

The Fortuna Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance. If you have any information regarding this investigation, please call the department’s WeTip hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 if their information leads to an arrest and conviction.
