Native American Basket Weaving



The recent theft of the Native American Basket hats from the Blue Lake Museum is a reminder of how beautiful basket craft can be.  The BLM Lecture series is featuring a chance to learn how to weave your own basket February 7th at the Healy Center in Redway. The Eel River Native Basket Weavers will be teaching “Keeping Traditions Alive through Weaving.”
