The fog is really bright now. Maybe that means sunshine later but I’m not counting on it.

We need more rain. We need LOTS more rain. The world is literally running dry. Enjoy fresh water falling from the sky in california whenever it happens…a real life “miracle” if there ever was one.

Hills like a Japanese painting… beautiful… When I came from LA in ’71, it rained into June. The place I live now was once the Maple Hills Resort, It advertised fresh spring water from several large springs and the waterworks remain but the springs have long since dried up. We should remember that our average rainfall averages in the relatively dry years in the last thirty, or so. Before that, I suspect, the average was much higher. I like the drier climate, but the fish dislike it and the river temperature in summer is a primary reason for the decline in the fish population. I now have a 200 foot well for water in a place where it was once gravity flow year ’round and if the doggone rain would stop, I could till my garden.
