Redway Bust Last Thursday

Humboldt Co. Sheriff’s Press Release:

Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested three people last Thursday after finding a variety of illegal

drugs inside a Redway residence. At about 12:30 Thursday, Deputies served a search warrant at a

residence on the 100 block of Redway Drive. Deputies, who were assisted by agents from the Humboldt

County Drug Task Force, searched the residence and found methamphetamine, MDMA (Ecstasy),

cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and suspected LSD. Additionally, three firearms were found inside the house.

Three suspects were located inside the house. All three were arrested and transported to the Humboldt

County Correctional Facility. The three suspects are:

Thomas Norman Stephens, 55 of Redway. Stephens was booked for possession

of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale,

possession of a narcotic for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, maintaining

a place for the sale or distribution of a controlled substance, being armed with

a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of an assault weapon.

Stephens posted bail in the amount of $50,000 and was released.

Rachel Michelle Bacon, 31 of Garberville.

Aaron Christopher Denser, 38 of Garberville

Bacon and Denser were booked for possession of a controlled substance and

possession of drug paraphernalia. They both posted bail in the amount of $25,000

and were released. All three are schedule to appear in court on May 26, 2011 at

1:30 p.m.

Inside the house, Deputies found the following:

73.8 grams of methamphetamine

7.6 grams of heroin

6.4 grams of cocaine

9 pounds of marijuana

12.1 grams of concentrated cannabis (hash)

Several paper tabs of suspected LSD

Multiple digital scales

One handgun, one shotgun, and one assault rifle.
