Mexican Weed Narrowing the Potency Gap

 

Does Humboldt dank face competition from Mexican suppliers?  The bud in the photo above, an entrant in a private cup held locally seems miles above the brick weed most people associate with over the border buds.  However, this recent story in Reuters and anecdotal evidence from local growers who have made the trip south to sell their product indicates that Mexican pot may be offering competition.

According to Reuters, “Farmers growing marijuana in remote Mexican mountains are adopting techniques pioneered in the United States to produce more potent pot and boost profits…”  See here for more in-depth discussion of this.
