Board of Supervisors to Discuss Mj Ordinance

On Tuesday, Mark Lovelace will present a report to the Board of Supervisors (BOS) about the issues surrounding marijuana that eventually the county will need to grapple with.  According to Lovelace, these issues will include “grow houses, dispensaries, outdoor cultivation, testing and labelling, transportation, certification, pesticide and herbicide use, edibles, and many other issues.”

Because the marijuana situation in Humboldt County is so complex, Lovelace plans on recommending “…that we move forward piece by piece, starting with a revised ordinance to deal with growhouses and dispensaries.  This draft ordinance will be based heavily on the Arcata and Eureka ordinances, to provide for a consistent approach county-wide.”

This ordinance won’t however be discussed until Wednesday as it has to go through the Planning Commission first.  The draft will then be put on the Community Development Services’ website on December 15th.  Then it will be discussed at the Planning Commission meeting on January 6th.

Government can’t even balance a checkbook and somehow they are the saviors of Humboldt with proposed high taxes and regulation on gardens? Wouldn’t shock me if they try to ban heirloom veggies and demand payment for ANY gardens in their zone of Military Occupation. All is never enough when dealing with the mentality of government filth, that could never open a business and turn a profit in the real world. Every single one is a worthless leech that must feed off the plates of others because coercion is how they make their “money” and feed their fat asses that break chairs in their dirty buildings that they hide within.
The only solution to the weed issue in Humboldt is to ban government from ripping people off and to end the murders they commit in the name of ego. There can be peace when the last government worker is sent to Hell for eternity to swim in a sea of fire.

Wow, a little harsh. I’m kind of fond of several government workers. My post office lady is pretty cool. I even respect and like several law enforcement officers. The clerks at the county courthouse always seem willing to help and they make me laugh. My husband and both my parents, work or worked for the government. They seem like pretty good folks to me. Government as a whole may be cumbersome but the individuals just seem as human as the rest of us.

“This draft ordinance will be based heavily on the Arcata and Eureka ordinances, to provide for a consistent approach county-wide.”

AND these too will be completely ignored by the growers of greater HumCo. What a jokes their controlling minds concoct.

“Because the marijuana situation in Humboldt County is so complex”

Excuse Me! but the ‘Pot Situation’ in HumCo is really rather SIMPLE.
Grow God given green herbal flowers, clean them, dry them, sell them, smoke them. SIMPLE!
