I’d say he’s more curious than anything.
What a wonderful caught pic.

I think he is more scared than mad.
One year i almost stepped on a day old fawn above my home. It did not move until i almost was on top of it. Fawn was fine, Mama almost killed me….
I believe we have a large cat, Bob or mnt. lurking around so not as many dear last two years.

Judging by his furrowed brow, I’d say he looks a little cranky. Great capture.

I also nearly stepped on a fawn hidden in bracken fern. The best description of how scared I was is unprintable.

You owe me a fawn story for harassing me you ornery no good short person. And Ren is going to skype you for misusing his good name. You’d better cough up the story before you get in more trouble;>

I think he is fierce for a fawn anyway! Mark saw twins a couple of days ago.

He’s such a healthy little guy–look at how fat and furry he is–that I’ll bet my shins would be seriously bruised by the time he got through with me.

I came across a newborn fawn once. He was on a hillside. His he was laying on his belly, with his legs stretched out like a spider. His head was down, and his ears were back. He had the same expression on his face as in your photo. I think that they try to look mean like that so you won’t try to hug them. They don’t like hugs.

I think fawns are like boy children–adorable and, definitely not into hugs, except from their mom.
