That is one of the coolest photos I’ve ever seen. No pun intended.

How’d you do that? You are taking the most amazing photos! What kind of camera are you using? It was nice to chat the other day…I am missing Salmon Creek. Gotta get down there one of these days. Lynn
It doesn’t have to make sense. Some of the best photos make no sense at all, but are intriguing. Such is the case in this one. Sometimes it’s nice to just have a title and no commentary. Other times the commentary really adds to it, for instance, you giving us the idea of the leaf cringing. Great photo, btw.

Kym I love this one! It reminds me of an artist from Mendo we found when we were down there getting married. Check him out, I think you’ll like his work. http://www.northcoastartists.org/JonKlein.html
This is exquisite, as are all your photos. And there seems to be a pattern; they’re getting better and better. Are you studying photography currently?
Also, as a person who knows nothing at all about photography but loves beauty, I can never quite capture the things I see. What kind of camera are you using, if you don’t mind my asking? Is it something an ordinary mortal might aspire to and carry in her purse?
Kym has a fantastic DSLR she takes pictures with. Definitely not a purse camera, as I have one similar but not as good. But i can tell she practices a lot.
Thank you but you should all go see the link from Mrs. Buster—that is photography! The dragonfly with raindrops is breathtaking.
Indie, I have a Nikkon D60. I love it but if I were to recommend something for the casual user I would say get a good digital (about $250) and then buy Lightroom. I’m finding that I use that amazing software to get the image that I can’t with my camera. You can get a free 30 day trial to see if you like it.

Great eye, Kym. I love the unpredictable and nontraditional focuses.

That is such a cool shot, it almost looks like a rain tree.
I love this. So often we see lovely dew-covered spiderwebs, but never at this angle. And your words are perfect. Sublime.
I dunno, that leaf looks parched!
What an amazing shot. Wow.
I’m glad you all like it. I hesitated to put it up because you have to stare at it a bit to make sense of the image.
The closeness is really intense. The lines are also really crisp, which with the intense zoom make a really nice photography. Good work!

This is fantastic! I didn’t read your text at first and sat her staring at it, trying to figure it out. Really cool!
that is the coolest shot ever!

It looks like a spider web with dew drops in it with a leaf under it??? I don’t get it…
Kidding! Another one of those “it must be home shots”. thanks
You are freakin’ brilliant. I love this.
Which link of Mrs. Buster’s where, please?
SIlverstar, right below your previous comment is a link to a Mendocino Co. CA. Photographer who is amazing.
not that good
Steve, point me to someone that you think is very good. If you don’t like Klien.
