Considering it sounds like all of northern CA is on fire, I’m surprised at how blue is the sky in your photo.

Thanks all.

Flickr? Why? I’ve never really explored the site.

The smoke goes in and out. Today is a bad day. A few days ago there wasn’t hardly a sign.

I’m not a huge Blake follower but I can’t resist the opportunity to quote poetry.

I love Shelley’s The Cloud

For after the rain when with never a stain
The pavilion of Heaven is bare,
And the winds and sunbeams with their convex gleams
Build up the blue dome of air,
I silently laugh at my own cenotaph,
And out of the caverns of rain,
Like a child from the womb, like a ghost from the tomb,
I arise and unbuild it again.

I once memorized that whole poem. Pieces of it still float in me
