Morning fog is always one of the things I loved best about Northern Cal.

I don’t like when it lays it heavy and cold but I love when it curls and licks around the house. Its like being a mermaid.

Beautiful photo. I too am one of those fog lovers, ‘specially from a high point where you can see it creeping up the valley, snaking its way through the trees, slowly revealing the landscape to an early morning viewer.

Nicely said! I’ve been trying to figure out how to capture fog with photography. I’m getting better but I’m not satisfied.

What a breathtaking photograph! I love morning fog, when it wraps you up almost like a silky cocoon. I always breathe a little deeper, and think a little clearer. Thanks for sharing this one!

Kym – Thanks for your heartfelt comment on my blog. I would be a fool to think everyone should agree with me, however what I dislike is someone who spouts off without thinking at all. Something you did not do. Hopefully you read some of my earlier essays, which are much lighter and funnier fare, if not, please come back! Thanks for your reply, Amie

My favorite view of fog is from above…where the white tops are just lovely puffy clouds.

Me, too. And I’m warm and sunny and glad I’m living high in the mountains.
