Spanish Fire 75% Contained–Burned Nearly 500 Acres

  The Spanish Fire which started yesterday evening has burned 498 acres.  When it was reported at a little before 9pm, a wildland fire response was initiated which consisted of a battalion chief, Bureau of Land Management chief officer and law enforcement rangers, fire engines and hand crews from CAL FIRE.
