A Walk Through the Cache Fire Which Displaced Hundreds of People in Lake County Yesterday

The Creekside Mobile Home Park on Dam Road in Clearlake appeared to be completely destroyed during the Cache Fire on Wednesday.

About 60 homes turned to ash in just a few hours. Many of those homes belonged to seniors and low income residents of two mobile home parks–Cache Creek Mobile Home Estates and Creekside Mobile Home Park. State Route 36: Update on August Complex Slide Emergency Work in Trinity County

“Due to current highway closures and evacuations from wildfire activity, Caltrans District 2 and contractor J.F. Shea, Inc. are currently running 24/7 reversible one-way traffic control with minimal delays at the August Complex Emergency Slide work location on State Route 36 in Trinity County, approximately 6 miles west of the junction with State Route 3 near Forest Glen until further notice.”
