Tonight, I’m going to town to investigate the new cannabis college in Humboldt.  They are offering their first class, Storing and Curing.  In spite of having lived here my whole life, I’m looking forward to learning the latest techniques.  This class is taught by Kevin Jodrey, the Cultivation Director of Humboldt Patient Resource Center in Arcata, one of the finest

Git Rid of Spider Mites

A knowledgeable local sent me the following  recipe for getting rid of some of pot’s most prevalent pests. Remember mites can overwinter in outdoor gardens in berries and mints so get rid of those plants or at least spray them if you are having a problem there. Love outdoor pot? Is it time to market it?  A group of both Humboldt and Bay Area residents thinks so.  They have created a new website dedicated to promoting outdoor marijuana over indoor. One line from the site sticks with me— “market forces profiting from expensive indoor infrastructure advertise indoor’s peculiarities—most notably, uniformity and sterility—as if they’re virtues.” So true!
