In light of so many DUI crashes, injuries and deaths, celebration of intoxicating beverages is really stupid, irresponsible and disgusting. You can guess I won’t be attending.
Oh grow up
Dismissing a legit point with “grow up” tells me you don’t want to hear the truth, and have no worthy counterpoint.
Here’s the cliff notes vers of why alcohol is NOT to be celebrated :

The harmful use of alcohol is a causal factor in more than 200 disease and injury conditions.
Worldwide, 3 million deaths every year result from harmful use of alcohol. This represents 5.3% of all deaths.
Overall, 5.1% of the global burden of disease and injury is attributable to alcohol, as measured in disability-adjusted life years (DALYs).
Beyond health consequences, the harmful use of alcohol brings significant social and economic losses to individuals and society at large: dui crashes.
Alcohol consumption causes death and disability relatively early in life. In people aged 20–39 years, approximately 13.5% of total deaths are attributable to alcohol.
There is a causal relationship between harmful use of alcohol and a range of mental and behavioural disorders, other non communicable conditions and injuries etcetcetc
Me thinks the maturing that needs to happen might be your own.
Its one of the most popular drinks in the world and to say we’re not aloud to acknowledge it because there are risks IS childish, you need to grow up aswell.
Human beings have been consuming fermented drink since , well I can’t go back that far. But I do know of a dude that said ” this is my body(bread), “this is my blood” Wine) . According to you, Earth should be nearly uninhabited. What a way to go. Just saying
