Long time Fortuna Resident Mike Losey is proud to announce his candidacy for Fortuna City Council. Mike previously served on the Fortuna City Council and desires to return to the council to work on relevant issues facing the Community. Mike has served the city and county as a police officer, deputy sheriff and District Attorney Investigator providing him with unique insight into future concerns of the residents of Fortuna.
Mike is committed to the recovery of downtown business and development of a robust economy as the city emerges from the economic downturn due to Covid-19. Mike believes in the community and has a desire serve as an active member of the Fortuna City Council. A good old boy that has a good old boy as campaign manager. What fun!
Mike is one of the most solid men in Humboldt County. I served on a jury where he was the witness. He was clearly the most credible witness in the whole trial! He would be a real asset to the city.
