[UPDATE 11:48 p.m.] Fire Near Redcrest Burning Uphill from the Avenue of the Giants Towards Hwy 101

A tenth of an acre fire burning at mile post marker 41.19 on the Avenue of the Giants is burning towards Hwy 101, according to the report of the Incident Commander speaking over the scene.

Redcrest VFD, Cal Fire, and other departments were sent to the incident at 11:07 p.m.

UPDATE 11:48 p.m.: The Incident Commander says they should have the fire wrapped up in about two hours.
