🕯🌳Damn it’s like a burst of fires everywhere at once. ☄👨🚒
Can we have a map? I don’t know where Bull Creek is or the specified mile markers.
Here’s a screenshot of a Google Map with the red marker approximately where the fires are.
Thank you! I’m a little overwhelmed by your responsiveness. What a beautiful display of small town (???) news. Thank you, Kim.
Glad to help.

For folks using Dowd Rd or Bald Hills Rd as a go around/detour please drive slowly, with your headlights on as both roads kick up a lot of dust! And if you know the arsonists who started the fires, then turn them in.
Thank you
Are you sure it was arson?
I’m not sure what the fuels look like right now out there but it’s not uncommon to find that fires started along the highway were started by dragging trailer chains when fuels are dry enough.
Most fires on the rez are arson.
It’s a Kamp Krusty tradition!
When I had Humboldt Fire Crew we responded to the Mile Post 21 Fire same spot it was August 1998 and the fire was on a very steep hillside and temp was 108
Couple days ago someone was arrested for shooting bottle rockets from a vehicle into the brush along side I-5 in Siskiyou County.
Their was a a few fire fighters in a burnover on a new in modoc/telema unit if I call correctly. Pretty scary stuff.
It’s that time of year when the firebugs come out
