Man Says He Was Stabbed by Unknown Assailant
Information from the Eureka Police under the Samoa Bridge:
EPD responded for the report of a stabbing that occurred on July 7, 2020 just after 9:30 p.m.
The victim told officers he was sitting on a bench when he was pushed and stabbed by an unknown male. The victim said he chased the suspect for a short time before returning to his vehicle and calling his girlfriend.
The girlfriend called the police.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s, 6’4”, average build, long brown hair, beard, and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
The suspect and motive has not been identified.
