It’s not a hot water heater. It’s a water heater. Why would you make hot water hotter

Fun! I get to google! “ Appliances that provide a continual supply of hot water are called water heaters, hot water heaters, hot water tanks, boilers, heat exchangers, geysers, or calorifiers. These names depend on region, and whether they heat potable or non-potable water, are in domestic or industrial use, and their energy source.”
I like geysers and calorifiers.

The names also depend on whether or not you are illogical. No matter how many people say “hot water heater” it still won’t make sense.

It makes sense cuz u wldnt use the water heater if u are only needing cold water…..it might not be the correct saying but i hear more ppl say hot water heater then water heater.

I’m just glad the flames weren’t from a water heater that wasn’t on fire!

How about a ‘cold water heater’? It is accurate chronologically as temperature dictates.

Yikes. Sounds like it’s time for a water heater replacement. Also, these comments are cracking me up
