Military Style Helicopter Circling Areas of SoHum

“We got this military style chopper circling all legal mom and pops right now,.. Do you know what the deal is with that?” asked a reader near Sprowl Creek about 1:37 p.m.
At least one reader noted there was no tail number. (Military aircraft are not required to display tail numbers.)
Other readers noted that the aircraft was in Ettersburg around 1 p.m., Elk Ridge about 1:10 and Jewett Valley just before 2 p.m.
One person who saw it described it as flying very low and slow.
Another copter that some people confused with it was one that is most likely judging from the tail number being used by PG&E to inspect lines. (Ones that end with PJ and repeatedly been used for that purpose. That chopper was also in east of Garberville about the same time that the military aircraft was west of Garberville.

That’s the same chopper that fly’s and raids in my neck of woods it’s national guard there not playing if three flying in your area they will be back and taking large amounts of the green stuff that’s what they do
That chopper took down a huge licensed commercial grow on monday in lake county off bartlett springs rd. Still nothing in the paper or news?
About 11 or 12, a chopper flew over Kettenpom, but we think it was PGE, as it had numbers, and the big snout thing on front.
You guys in Humboldt have some real problems with that satellite, but especially John Ford. Like I said, gather up and go protest in front of his house, and in front of his office. You do it for other things. Call his office non stop. Tell him he ends the satellite, and the abatement for a green house. I am sure a few people at his residence will do the trick. Otherwise, to avoid the facist state he has created, you have to go to another county, like Lake county, where growing is easy and cheap. Are you going to take action, or roll over and take it like you always do.

Either 1) Protest and resist and bring your permit patsy friends along with you 2) Whine and cry like snowflakes while they destroy you all one at a time or 3) Move to another county. Humboldt is now THE WORST county to grow in…. Because 1)John Ford, Estelle and company with their satellite and 2) You allow it go down. What happened to y’all?! Some sold out and the rest became snowflakes? Sad.

Heads up I have been told the abatement program is not sending notices as of March, BUT abatements are attached to raids and in many ways they are worse than raids. I have a friend with a 4200 sq ft garden space (according to the county which means 2500 sq ft typically) that just got raided and then received an abatement. Its happening to so many right now. Yeah, Mom and Pops is right.

I was unloading my groceries and it came directly over ridge lowed 200 feet above me and slowly made a u turn before I got back out for more groceries it did it again I’m so trinity /humboldt boarder it was about 2pm Was definitely looking at my veggie garden and me . All black with a person hanging out but didn’t bother to fly to my neighbor with a football feild of non perm .. very weird I felt so violated 🥺

Nobody gives a crap about big unpermitted grows except the people with permits because it benefits the consumer.

That black heli flew our N Mendo Bell Springs neighborhood July 2nd, it was at about 100′ over the next door property. No tail numbers, PG&E was also in the neighborhood with theirs at the same time. No numbers heli seemed to be flying mom and pop grows according to the neighbors. Reminds me of the “Green Sweep” days.

This helicopter scared my cattle in Northern Mendocino. I had to put down a heifer who ran from the helicopter and broke its leg in a gulch. I have contacted the Mendo Board of Supervisors but they all say their hands are tied since it is the state and not county. So now we have Rogue State Militia flying around scaring and spooking livestock on rangeland at a time most ranchers are feeling the squeeze. Enough is enough, now their war games are injuring livestock and hurting small ranchers and farmers. Our county deserves better, our families deserve better. This entire eradication business should be the absolute 1st thing we defund when we talk about defunding the police. Who in Sacramento is going to pay foe my injured and dead cattle ?

Nothing new. Many years ago they flew a barn and corrals in AP area (Anzini’s I believe) they scared a stallion and in his terror he broke his leg and they had to put him down. I’ll never forget that girls tears at a meeting with then CAMP.
They have a group of them in trinity friend was following their supply trucks up in there 2 weeks ago, they were saying they were navy though

I suspect it’s limited to whether the transponder is “on” and whether they are at altitude for air traffic control to pick it up, but I haven’t been able to test it.

It’s very frustrating when you do everything you are supposed to through the permitting process, pay all of the obscene taxes, get every report, open your door to every agency every time they ask, and still have to deal with them flying your home scaring your kids and animals with no explanation or care in the world. I don’t see that happening to any other business owner. They came to Blocksburg Yesterday as well. They were as low as they could get without hitting the mountain or trees. Nice to see our tax dollars being blown on pointless flights instead of our schools, roads, etc. There is a reason we sign up and are open for inspections whenever an agency wants. So that we can be treated like normal business owners. Instead here we all still acting like that isn’t the case. Weather it’s the state or county they should respect that as we respect their regulations. Pretty upsetting.
