It said two parties have “moderate” injuries. An airlift makes it seem like the injuries were worse, though… 🙁

🧐Willie only reads the titles before immediately falling into emojis/commenting mode. It seems he/she didn’t even have time to glance at the 5 pictures of an air ambulance. Cracks me up! 🤪 🤳 🧏🚁

If you’d look at the time is Willie’s post and then the time of the updates you’d notice that his comment came before the updates and pics.

Last I heard the air ambulance will stand there and watch you die if they don’t get their money before they take you away.

My boyfriend was the air ambulance pilot at this Scene and that is an ABSOLUTE falsehood! Ridiculous comment. Do some research and have some respect for rescue personnel. You’re obviously jaded, poor thing.

Seriously. This a tragic event. Respect for first responders and law enforcement should be given. What if it was you or one of your families? Icky responses. Love!

Lifted out in a Stokes? Patient could not be carried out up that steep drop and so the direct and more expensive option was called in. Pretty steep there, 150 feet down… I imagine they removed the patients from the wreck and landed them before they were carried the rest of the way — enclosed — because it would be mighty scary to be high in the air swinging around while the rescue chopper went any distance.

Lifted out in a Stokes by the CAL FIRE copter. No charge for air rescue. Medivac flight (private air ambulance) will be a different story.

One patient was hauled up the hill by technical rescue. The second one was lifted out of the canyon by copter 102 from calfire. Hoisted straight up and loaded into the helicopter before landing to unload and trasfer to reach 18.First transported by ground am and second one by air.

🕯🌳So Bryan you picked on me by name and for my emojis, what’s your problem?🕊🐸🖖🌍I have over 1,000,000 emojis and some are pretty graphic but I respect Kym and most poster on this blog,so again what’s your problem?🐸🕊🌳🌍

If you respect Kym then you would respect her readers and the community by not posting insensitive comments like you’ve done above. Have a little consideration. Death and severe injury is nothing to have fun with by posting (unnecessary) emojis all over the place.

I agree, these. ARE SERIOUS INCIDENTS OF PEOPLE GOING ABOUT THEIR REGULAR LIIVES. AND THEN TRAGEDY HAPPENS IN THE BLINK OF THE EYE.

Willie, you and I disagree on a lot of subjects. But one thing that can be said with certainty is that you aren’t out there being insensitive. Using emojis is part of your style. It makes you happy. Don’t worry about these naysayers. If they don’t like it, they have the ability to skip over your comments. Maybe they should look at their own insensitive comments and see they, not you have a problem.

I don’t think you really know what you’re talking about. People who are sensitive to others feelings don’t run in and use emojis unnecessarily. It’s called empathy. You wouldn’t run up to someone who’s just lost someone and not show some sign of caring and compassion would you? That would be the equivalent of these emojis. Someone lost a life and he’s all “hey, frogs and peace man”. It’s 100% insensitive. Read the room.

People also need to stop posting irrelevant crap about whether the air lift will take you out without payment etc. Who tf cares? It’s not important at all in this case. People were injured and killed. Let the families deal with this without all this added BS.

If it were my loved ones involved in this accident I wouldn’t be reading the comments. You don’t have to either. Good luck policing others thoughts and speech.

Jes , I am sorry to hear that. I was a witness to the accident and one of 3 ppl first on the scene. I saw the car fly over the side. I tried to climb down to help them but with
out rope, I would have needed rescued as well. Me and the other 2 ppl yelled down to them and they responded so we knew there was hope. They were so far down that we couldn’t see them and couldn’t hear them well…i went to the bottom of the cliff and tried to climb up but only made it a little ways before I kept sliding back down. I truly gave it my all to help them but was not prepared for the climb. I feel horrible about it. I wish there was something I could have done to help them. Truly sorry for the loss and I hope the other girl is doing well.
