Duh.. Symptomatic peolple are sick and shedding virus. Asymptomatic people may have viral particles in their system but it is not replicating and spreading
. you dont need a degree to learn that

A little cautionary tale for you.

My county in Oregon had 9 cases until the end of May. That was the total since the outbreak.

It jumped because of an outbreak in a fish plant. We are at this moment up to 156 cases. One week ago today it had grown to 18 cases (in one week).

It can happen very fast. And most of those are asymptomatic. By the way, the fish plant(s) involved also own Pac Choice in Eureka.

Needless to say, we are crawling back into our hole for awhile. We had thought our county had skated pretty well until this.

I’m curious though, how many deaths? And if there were, what was the age of said people? I am willing to look it up myself, if you’re willing to provide the county name. If you’re trying to protect your anonymity, I understand. Thanks.

No deaths yet, though it was just discovered in the past some days. The fish plant workers tend to be younger. The alarming thing is that it happened so fast, in a small community. The fish company screwed up by not testing before starting. That, and there are many older people in the town, including us, that are involved in the fishing industry. The plant(s) rightly shut right down, but who knows.

The county is saying it is “contained”…we aren’t “afraid”, but damn, the infected people are part of our community, they shop, they go to church, their kids play with other kids….

Sounds like the fish plants are no better than the cattle, pig, and poultry plants, for worker safety. Seems that most infection clusters are at meat plants, except for those at nursing homes. Seems this pandemic has exposed tremendous weakness in our food system.

Agreed.

This happened earlier:

Not a fan, by any means, of the big factory trawlers. But that isn’t the workers fault.

🕯🌳What happens is in the testing. Some people are scared to be tested because then they ask about contact information and alot of people don’t want to give it out or they lie.🖖🌍🐸🕊

You’d think at least that much would be clear by now either way but Nooooo. https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/doctors-comment-on-who-findings-about-asymptomic-coronavirus-patients/67-826fa117-2e0f-47c1-8dbf-0fefec197366 According to this link it is questionable still. Since everyone seems to have an agenda, it’s impossible to know even such a simple answer.

That is a misleading quote, though. If you look more into the “new” story, you’ll find that 1) presymptomatic folks can still spread it and 2) some supposedly asymptomatic people actually were symptomatic, their symptoms just weren’t recognized (like in mild cases).

That’s why it’s important we social distance & wear masks: we could be sick & contagious but not yet realize it.

I hope everyone continues to do their part for our community!

“Propaganda is communication that is used primarily to influence an audience and further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be presenting facts selectively to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is presented.”

We are being presented with conflicting or changing views from “experts” during this entire “pandemic.” Instead of pressing for more information (rational response), we are consistently being told to wear masks and social distance (an emotional appeal to protect others). Be aware of these tactics when recieving information from any news outlet. Including this one.

The WHO just obliterated every argument for mandatory vaccines or contact tracing by declaring asymptomatic carriers don’t spread COVID-19

Monday, June 08, 2020 by: Mike Adams

(Natural News) Today the WHO declared that COVID-19 almost never spreads through asymptomatic carriers, all at once wiping out the entire justification for mandatory vaccines and contact tracing. As CNBC.com reported:

“From the data we have, it still seems to be rare that an asymptomatic person actually transmits onward to a secondary individual,” Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, head of WHO’s emerging diseases and zoonosis unit, said at a news briefing from the United Nations agency’s Geneva headquarters. “It’s very rare.”
