Still shelter in place orders, it’s going on June. Still no reopening, eureka was a ghost town today. I’m just expecting this to be the new norm till Christmas…. The homeless out numbered the citizens, or is that just “normal” for eureka?

reopening? Look around you…… you think those restaurants will survive with 25% occupancy? Shelter in place orders are still in effect. 2 weeks has turned into 4 months now.

Do you have any idea how we are doing on that overwhelming the hospitals thing? Dr Frankovich is keeping that a closely guarded secret.

Businesses can not function nor can their employees either with retractions or uneconomical expansions because changes in stats that only show up two of three weeks after the infections occured . A restaurant which has a thousand dollars in food purchased to serve, your eager patrons have reservations, your staff has arranged child care and suddenly they are closed? Many already took hits 2 months ago, have had no income and they should risk it all again? When the original order, if respectful of the hard conditions to keep a lot of businesses afloat, could have equally well included the now permissible distancing the first place? What was wrong from the start is closing so many businesses down based on fear rather than reality. It certainly was not based on cooperation. I wonder how many will close permanently?

Besides you can’t eat dinner wearing a mask. Nor is the any indication that wearing masks available to the general public makes you less likely to get infected. Just sayin’

They are laying off hospital workers people!!! Wake up! I still have a shelter in place order….. I along with everyone else, shouldn’t we be sheltering in place till that is lifted? And kym, with my profession, I oblige by my superiors advice and wear a mask when and wear I need too. Not only that, I am forced to wear one, remember, it’s not a recommendation! It’s an order. And guest, check out the new dinner mask they have, it has a clear flap so you can shove a fork in your mouth and not mess up your mask! Super cool dinner date option!

Bottom line, this is the very same virus it was back in April. No one’s saying it’s weakened any. Plain & simple, we’re in for a long ride!

1 in 5 small businesses fail in year One. 5 in 10 fail after 5 years.

Who exactly should we be rushing to save? I don’t want to die for the Dow or a biz already primed for failure.

If I owned a restaurant I’d hire a bunch of young adults to deliver my goodies by electric bicycles.

For those wishing for tourists, I heard about 6 people speaking Japanese when I was shopping at the Fortuna Safeway yesterday.

Hillary Clinton explained the facts of life to her. Just kidding… It’s just as irrelevant to Biden as it was to Trump. In fact the only reason it matters at all is that it shows the bias in the press who will repeat any allegation if they think it damages Trump even while a private citizen and an acknowledged playboy, but will not consider Biden’s history even while he held political office.

I think that, unless some evidence of any kind comes to light, her claims can’t be given much weight. Accusations without a confession or evidence can not be allowed to harm others, and certainly don’t come close to beyond reasonable doubt. And, before someone accuses me of being a hypocrite, please note that I also did not believe the accusations against Kavanaugh should have been allowed to succeed without evidence, despite my personally despising him, my personally believing that the accusations were true, and my rather wishing he was not allowed to make decisions that affect our country. It just sets a precedent that’s too likely to result in perversions of justice where people are convicted of crimes, either by courts or by public opinion, for which they are innocent, and as has been repeatedly stated throughout the history of our country, it’s better the occasional guilty person goes free than an innocent one gets hanged.

As to media bias… This has been all fucking over all the press everywhere.

Also, Trump boasted about groping women, as if it was something to be proud of, rather than something that should get him tossed in jail.

Biden’s mask is to hide his gaffes.

This is Bill Mahar’s dream come true, Ruin the economy to get rid of Trumps main strength. He told you that straight up.
Keep Joe in the basement and pretend he’s the front runner.
Dump Joe at the last minute and put in the real contender at the last minute so Trump doesn’t have time to counter with ads or a defense.

Meanwhile Nancy will alter the voting system in the Dems favor of course while enjoying a Long>>>>>>>>>>>vacation! Seems she only works during impeachments and even then she sends Adam Shiffty and Nadler to do the heavy lifting… um, I meant lying.

Mean while Fauci says don’t wear masks, um, wear masks, um, don’t, um yes wear masks.

CDC we have tests! there good, um, no not good, hmm yes there good, not….

20 active cases now down six from yesterday. If this keeps up we may find out how many current hospitalizations we have. We sure won’t hear it from Dr Frankovich. She wants everyone to think our hospitals are slammed.

For the current hospitalizations, go to the calMatters site, which shows by county. It only updates once a day, and I don’t know how prompt our hospitals are at reporting to the state, but it gives you some indication. Here’s the link:

I have some real questions about the accuracy of that. They say 6 currently that tested positive and another 4 probable hospitalizations. That’s 10 plus our two deaths brings it to twelve. So basically they are saying no one has been released from the hospital. That would be a good question to ask Dr Frankovich if that Calmatters data is correct but that’s another game she plays. She won’t answer questions except for her manipulated “media availabilities ” which are a joke.

Note that the 4 “suspected” cases shown on the calMatters site would not be included in the 12 hospitalizations (since they are not confirmed cases, just suspected). If you look at the graphs on that site, it will help.

Yes, it updates, usually each day (currently shows May 26th, around 10 AM). That April date, at the top, is when the page was first started. If you scroll down a bit it, under those first two blue & yellow boxes, it shows in bold when it was updated.

None of this is law.
Not the masks, not the SIP, not the social distancing.
It will re-open when we just all get together and do it. There will be plenty of lawsuits when this is done because none of it is legally enforceable. Don’t just take my word for it, look into it.

Color of Law.

Because, just like last time you spammed a worthless image with text on it, children can still spread the disease to others even if they are unlikely to die from it themselves.

Focusing on racism. Seems really popular right now in the news. My theory is the governments plan of 50% decreased population is working. What covid doesn’t kill, the rest of us through our own fears, ignorance and prejudices will finish the rest. We have become our own enemy. Brilliant if you ask me. No need for war when we are willing to do the job for them. Pure brilliance!

Vaccine Development Threatened as COVID-19 Infections Decline

Not Enough COVID-19

However, Oxford researchers are now warning of an obstacle in the trial process. As new cases of COVID-19 are declining, they worry the data will not meet the hurdles to prove effectiveness. They are now placing the odds of a successful trial at 50%. Professor Adrian Hill is sounding the alarm:
