Killer Whales Feeding at Patrick’s Point

[All photos by Julie Kelly]

We’re a wee bit jealous.

A local woman braved the rain, and, according to a tweet by Mike Kelly, fish biologist and writer, she “braved the rain and saw these killer whales apparently feeding a ways off Patrick’s Point today. They were splashing around like this for at least an hour. There was definitely food on the neighborhood rock. And I regret sleeping in… #Humboldt”
