Arrest in Redway Late Yesterday

A witness stated that the passenger in the van was not arrested. According to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Booking Sheet, a Brian Lowe was arrested at 5:02 p.m. for PC 422: “Any person who willfully threatens to commit a crime which will result in death or great bodily injury to another person… ”
At this time, we have not been able to confirm that the arrest of Mr. Lowe and the incident in Redway are related though it seems likely.

What’s the Lowe down on why he was arrested? Did he not keep it on the down Lowe?
Hopefully he got more than a free ride to Eureka. Since the Sheriff’s Department is in charge of the jail, he probably walked in and out the revolving doors. Here’s hoping they did their job and kept him.
