Fortuna Union High School DistrictOnce a month, the Fortuna Union High School District updates us on what’s going on in their world.

25 March 2020

Dear Fortuna Union High School District Community,

We hope you are well and trying to stay healthy.

We had a board meeting on Monday night to discuss a few items of note.  The Board of Trustees appreciates the hard-working staff and their dedication.

The Trustees approved the closure of all district schools to students through Friday, April 17, 2020.  Staff is continuing to make progress toward a distance learning start date of Monday, March 30, 2020. Teachers have been making efforts to communicate with students to ready them for the start of remote learning.

The District will continue to provide meals to our students, but may update our schedule and locations.  Many thanks to our nutrition staff for continuing this necessary service.

Please continue to monitor our websites, social media pages and all calls for updates and important information.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times.

Glen Senestraro

Superintendent
