Press release from College of the Redwoods:

All spring classes at College of the Redwoods will resume on March 30, 2020. All but a very few programs will be completed remotely for the remainder of the semester. Students will not come to campus for class meetings or student support services. CR’s staff and faculty have been working very hard to make sure our students have the instruction and support resources they need to complete their classes successfully, and students are urged to keep in contact with their instructors.

We will be relying heavily on our course management system Canvas for the remainder of the semester. It is extremely important that students regularly check their MyCR email, Canvas, and WebAdvisor for updates from CR and instructors.

If you need assistance or have questions regarding student services and resources, we have set up a new website: www.redwoods.edu/COVID19

This new site includes information on Student Help Lines, Services and Support, Links, Technology Resources, Mental Health Resources and CR News and Announcements related to COVID-19.

The safety of our students and employees is paramount, and the situation has progressed to the point where, unfortunately, we decided that we must cancel this year’s traditional commencement ceremonies. The degrees and certificates will be conferred, but we are going to delay the in-person ceremony and celebration, and plan for some type of commemoration at a later date—perhaps in late fall 2020. More information on this will follow.

Again, for information and support, please go to www.redwoods.edu/COVID19
