The Eureka High Grad is currently doing a run of the aforementioned answer on London’s West End.
On Jan. 26 she won a Grammy Award for Best American Roots Performance for the song “Saint Honesty.”
Her upcoming Apple TV show “Little Voice ” which was created in coordination with J.J. Abrams among others is widely anticipated. “This is not a cynical show,” she told The Stage. “It’s very heart-forward.”

Millennials. Ugh. The worst of postmodernism and me culture. Everything is about the subject. No objectivity. No originality. Just self -referentialism and pop culture anecdotes. Bob’s Burgers Eureka version. Waitress indeed.
You make no sense. Is a 40 year old now considered millenial? You do get that Waitress is a play right?
Is it non original to be involved with and write songs for the only Broadway play to date run by women in every job position? To be asked to bring said play to London to perform in? To win a grammy on your 8th nomination? To play Mary in the live TV version of jesus christ superstar?
Do explain. Perhaps youll see the futility of putting people in boxes esp those from Humboldt

Glad to see trivia hasn’t been completely eliminated from our culture. Good luck to Sara, and congratulations on the amazing accomplishments.
Sara’s family is so proud of her and her many accomplishments. She is quite a gifted songwriter, singer, musician and actress. Sara deserves her time in the limelight. Soak it up cuz, you deserve it!
My first show at the Hollywood Bowl was Sara, and first seeing her live. Blown away is an understatement. Will never miss another.
Sara Bareilles is my future wife. She is also the greatest musical talent this country has. I love her THIS much. Seeing Waitress on Broadway was one of my greatest treats ever.
