The road by itself is not dangerous, but add one or more sleepy, inattentive or careless drivers to the mix, and this is generally the result.

The Ford PU with Tankersley driving started this fiasco. I hope the cops have a thorough accident police report for the insurance companies to use for claims. This was preventable. One driver for whatever reason caused harm and destruction to three other innocent people. Surviving in the small cars was a miracle.

I hope he wasn’t texting and took his eyes off the road. I just read that texting accidents are 6 times more prevalent than drunk driver accidents! We need to raise the fines and punish people that are texting and driving and causing accidents. Get their cell phone records and see if they were on the phone at the time of the accident.

I got rear ended in Eureka a while back. Screwed my back up for awhile and damaged the car. Just an idiot that had to use his phone in stop and go traffic.

I hope that everyone involved in this accident will heal up fully.

Its the elephant in the insurance industry’s room. The numbers of deaths and injuries thanks to cell phones is staggering. Just like the silence about it from the industry. People are dying because Verizon/ATT/et al are making too much $$$$$$$.
