Redwood Coast Chapter of American Association of Zoo Keepers is excited to announce the launch of this year’s Cupcakes for Conservation event! Cupcakes is a Valentine’s Day fundraiser to support local conservation efforts. Buy a $10 Texas-sized cupcake for a special someone, and receive FREE delivery to any address from Fortuna to McKinleyville on Valentine’s Day! Your order will include: a keepsake photo of the animal you have chosen to support, a fondant topper of your animal that is vegan, edible, and hand-made by zoo keepers, and a handcrafted card, all stored safely inside a festively decorated box.

This year, Cupcakes for conservation will be supporting two causes: The Turtle Survival Alliance, represented by a Radiated Tortoise fondant topper; and the Save the Redwoods League, represented by a banana slug and fern fondant topper.  All proceeds made on cupcakes will be donated completely and directly to the organizations their cupcake animals represent.  Cupcakes are available in chocolate, vegan chocolate, and yellow cake. We will be accepting orders through our website redwoodcoastaazk.org until February 12th at 5pm.  We also will accept a written form to be filled out at the ticket booth at Sequoia Park Zoo.  Quantities are limited so order yours today!
