[UPDATE: Body Identified as Adam Mrozek] Body Found in Salmon Creek During Search for Missing Man

A body has been located today during the search for missing man, Adam Mrozek, in the Upper Thomas Road area in the Salmon Creek watershed, confirmed Samantha Karges of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. Mrozek was reported missing yesterday after last being seen at his residence on a remote property on November 17.
“Deputies have located a male body while searching for missing person Adam Daniel Mrozek in the Salmon Creek area,” Karges wrote in brief response just after 1:30 p.m. to our questions. “At this time, we cannot confirm the identity of the body. Deputy coroners will be working to determine a positive identification to confirm whether or not it is our missing person.”
After an initial investigation, law enforcement doesn’t believe there was foul play, Karges told us. However, she told us, “an official determination regarding cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy of the body.”
UPDATE Thursday: The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office has identified the body as belong to missing Salmon Creeker, Adam Mrozek.
They said in a press release, “The Humboldt County Coroner’s Office has positively identified a male body found November 20 in Salmon Creek as that of missing person Adam Daniel Mrozek. Official cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy of the body.”

I sure hope it is not Adam, but considering they found the body on his property it is likely him. Health issue, foul play, etc. Thank you to the Sheriff’s Department, and all others out looking for him.

Crap comment. He is someone that helped his community for your knowledge.
It truly is a sad situation. Condolences. But, in this country Everyone has freedom of speech. Like it or not doesnt change a family is hurting nor we have a Constitution. Just the same rights everyone else has that is dogging for the comment!
That was a truly hurtful and unfeeling comment. Compassion is what instills us to feel for others. Even dogs have more compassion, than to make a so hurtful statement as that. Maybe it was said out of ignorance or maybe not. If it was a person not thinking, they should say so. If not, then, that person certainly needs prayers as much as the family that is broken from this sad experience in life that can happen. If this young man, which I do not know but I can tell was so cared for by the people who did. Would he want this kind of disharmony? Or would he want for all who loved him, to come together and know he is in a better place, celebrate his life, and know everyone will remember him in their hearts for without this, there is no healing folks.
Someone lost their life, have some damn respect and think before you type! Adam was a pretty good dude, sad day
