School Update for Wednesday

With the recent power fluctuation, schools in Humboldt are having to decide whether classes are on or off for Wednesday. Humboldt County Office of Education created a clear document showing which are which. If you want to know about what Humboldt County K-12 Public Schools are in session tomorrow, click on this link. (Although Southern Humboldt Unified School District shows as unknown, it will be open tomorrow, according to Tori Miclette, speaking for the District.)

Both of our Colleges are closed on Wednesday. Here’s what each has to say.

College off the Redwoods: “College of the Redwoods classes are cancelled for tomorrow, Wednesday. Oct. 30th…. We will provide further information on Wednesday, October 30. Updates will also be posted to Canvas.”

Humboldt State University: “Campus will reopen on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. Employees should report to work at that time. Classes are now scheduled to resume Thursday, Oct. 31. This schedule will allow for an orderly reopening of facilities. It will also allow instructors time to prepare for classes and labs”
