It is important (I think) to remember fires can start without PG&E. Many of the Lake County fires in recent years were arson
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
just because somebody doesn’t ride the Boogie Man Bandwagon doesn’t make them “sponsored”. Maybe just slightly objective. if you blame PG&E for the Tubbs, Redwood Valley, and Camp fires, Then you should be happy about the shut offs. It is the simplest quickest thing they can do to eliminate the grid from the problem during high winds. It seems obvious enough without having to be Sponsored. When the power is off they don’t make money, Right? It’s not like it’e some kind of big corporate win. To be realistic, and not overly simplistic, should help avoid mistakes and disasters in the future. If you put all your eggs of hatred in the Pg&e basket you may miss planning for other more typical emergencies.
The Carr Fire that burnt through Redding, even jumping the River was started by a trailer wheel. The two bigger fires out west of Red Bluff this year were lightning ignitions.
Sorry to learn that the person trapped in the fire has died. Condolences to their family and friends. Thank you to all the first responders who tried so hard.
