Turtles are nasty animals to keep as pets. Many carry disease. Just a heads up to those thinking about getting one (esp. those with small children)

Any update on the turtle? Hope it made it out safe and sound.
BTW humans are nasty animals to keep as pets. Many carry diseases. Just a heads up to those thinking about getting one, especially those with small children. Pretty safe bet they hurt/kill a whole lot more people than turtles do.
