Tomorrow rain should roll into Humboldt County in the late morning and show up intermittently through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Yeah – I’m not sure that .10″ – .25″ even qualifies as rain.
Might not want to go outside with just socks on, but at the same time, there’s no need to get the rain gear out.

That’s horrible Government Cheese! The Redwoods would suffer enormously. Not sure they could survive that? Sad, very sad. To have this knowledge and piss it away as unfounded. The science is in. Plastics need to be banned, and as difficult as it may be or sound, cars need to stop being driven and go to mass commuting. It’d be awful, but what is the alternative. We are going to waste our planet, rather than be inconvenienced.

Time to clean the windows and mirrors.
I generally see rain within two weeks if I do this – or weather as currently predicted, at the very least.
Always surprises me when it works – and three decades later I’m still getting something like a result, which may be why I still do it. Washing my car (without cleaning the windows) has no impact – but replace the roof in the summer? It’ll rain in July! Clean the windows and it rains (or something like) in two weeks.
And then there is the danger of getting the whole house “mother-in-law” clean all at the same time. Seems like when I do that we have an earthquake sufficient to drop stuff onto the floor. So the house is never completely sano’d. My mother used to say it didn’t matter if it wasn’t Clean as long as it didn’t need cleaning.
I am engaged with moving, it is sure to rain.
