Six Rivers Forest reports that the smoke you might see near Salyer in Trinity County is nothing to worry about.
They tweeted at 2:01 p.m., “Lower Trinity District is burning an acre’s worth of piles today at Salyer Guard Station. Smoke will be visible from Highway 299. Additional burns may take place across the forest tomorrow if the weather cooperates.”
