🕯🌳Didn’t feel a thing, but couldn’t sleep, hmmmmmm. Now some scientists say that certain things like that are contented, but I know you guys don’t believe in science only big maps with sharpie drawings on it,right.👨‍⚕️ And thanks for the updates.

It’s hard to pick which is the most ridiculous- a President defensively justifying in a silly manner a comment that was no longer correct when he made it or ignorant people, who announce they know what “science” is because a late night comic told them, thinking themselves any better. Trump deserves ridicule for trying to justify his misspeaking instead of just saying so. Then again the frenzy of his enemies, showing off their pettiness, makes an equally pathetic display.

“pod” … OMFG 😂😂 Took me a bit to figure that one out.
You do realize that people are animals too. We’re not some special creature just because we called ourselves humans.

Auto correct I suspect. It’s a PITA to have and a PITA not to have.

Different animals have different levels to their senses. Too many times I have seen livestock and domestic animals going about their usual activities (mostly sleeping) when an earthquake suddenly hit. Although we all attended to the shaking at the same time, the animals leaped up and were running immediately while I stood still for a second while I thought about what action was best. I can imagine though, if an earthquake was far enough away, a less preoccupied creature in closer contact to the ground might be aware a bit earlier than a two legger. On the other hand I was out horse back with a friend when an earthquake caused dirt to puff up from the ground but, because we were all in motion, neither the humans nor horses noticed the ground shaking enough to react.

Native Americans called dogs the “Dog People”, and didn’t consider them animals, like all other animals.

Sometimes there are radio frequencies (sound waves) produced by a fault line a day or several days in a row just before a quake. The Loma Prieta did that. That doesn’t happen with many quakes. It’s possible IF a fault produces sounds they may be heard or sensed- if near the hearing level- by some animals that have a wider range of hearing than we do.
